These bees just found a sweet ride and it’s driving straight into our nightmares.
Castlereagh Street in Sydney, Australia was swarmed with bees after the queen bee decided to create her own beehive on a red motorbike. A cloud of bees invaded the streets and looked like a scene out of the 1978 horror flick The Swarm.
Soooo when’s the next ticket out of Sydney?
Sydney police issued a warning to people about the invasion of bees in the area on social media. They were having a bit of a sting operation, if you will.
Naturally, the internet had a blast creating puns and poking fun at a scary situation.
Hard to see the make but am guessing it’s a Bee MW.

According to ABC, Vicky Brown, who runs courses in beekeeping, headed over after her students told her what was going on.
It didn’t take long for the very brave beekeeper (seriously, where’s her protective gear?) to capture the queen bee and successfully remove the bees away from their new home.
According to the City of Sydney’s Twitter, the bees were removed and relocated to a local bee colony, The Urban Beehive.
Next time Australia has a bee invasion let’s just hope it’s Queen Beyonce instead.
