Pete Souza isn’t the only one who’s captured some stunning shots of the Obama family.
Former White House Photographer Amanda Lucidon spent four years documenting Michelle Obama’s political efforts, social initiatives, and family memories, and she’s compiled them into a book of nostalgic images titled, Chasing Light.
The $29.99 book will feature 150 color shots along with personal reflections and inside stories from the White House, as told by Lucidon.
“Mrs. Obama is a source of light and inspiration in my life,” Lucidon said in a statement to The Associated Press. “She was a mentor to me and so many people around the world. The work she has done with young people, especially girls and underserved youth, has helped me realize that I want to spend my life helping others reach their fullest potential.”
This collection of Michelle Obama photos will be released Oct. 17 by Ten Speed Press, an imprint of Penguin Random House, just three weeks before former White House photographer and expert Trump troller Pete Souza’s book of photos: Obama: An Intimate Portrait.
And both the former POTUS and FLOTUS have signed with Penguin Random House to release two separate books at some point in the future.
So for everyone who misses the Obama fam, clear some space on your coffee table and have no fear. The books will be here soon.
